After the super Hit flim of ‘Romeo Juliet’ once again Jayam Ravi and director Lakshman as joined together to give as a another super Hit movie for Tamil Cinema. Asual the same team which was used in Romeo Julient as also used in ‘Bogan’. After the blockbuster movie of ‘Thani Oruvan’ in this movie also Jayam Ravi and Aravind Swamy as rocked together in ‘Bogan’.

Story :

‘Bogan’ is  based on Transmigration of souls or body swapping. We have seen the same concept two decades ago in Prabhu’s ‘Chinna Vaathiyar’. Bogan is a mix of Chinna Vaathiyar and “Face Off”. A cat and mouse game between cop and villain frames the entire plot.

The Background of the story is Arvind Swamy is from a Royal Family. Later he faces lots of debts and economical problem, then comes he starts to cheat people and get money. The turning point of the story is Arvind Swamy finding a palm script (Olaichuvadi in Tamil) in an archaeologist site. From that palm script he learns how to go into other peoples body (koodu vittu koodu paaythal). Arvind Swamy robs banks using that technique and there he interferes with Jayam Ravi’s Father. Then only Jayam Ravi getting involved into the story. In Second half Jayam Ravi goes into Arvind Swamy’s body and vice versa.

Both Arvind Swami and Jayam Ravi rock the floor with their towering screen presence. Hansika, on the other hand looks bubbly and adds to the glamour quotient. Soundarajan’s hard work in the cinematography department can be noted. D Imman’s background music thrusts the movie upwards. But apart from ‘Damaal Dumeel’ track no other song leaves an impact. Antony’s editing also deserves praises with sleek cuts in the fast-paced sequences of the movie. However, one might get the feeling that the film could have been trimmed a little more. The love portions in the film could also have been controlled to make it a better arrangement altogether.

Senthoora song looks very awesome to watch a perfect melody from D.imman, although once again Jayam Ravi and Aravind Swamy as rocked well in Bogan This gives a good responce to watch Bogan without any Disappoinment.

Verdict : Lakshman’s Bogan gives a perfect thriller movie with powerfull Screenplay to watchable

Overall Rating : 3 / 5
